Randy Orton is arguably the greatest star that the WWE has ever seen for multiple reasons. In a recent interview that he did, he explained some interesting facts about what he's gone through in his career and why he believes that he's one of the best to ever lace them up.

Randy Speaks On Longevity

In his recent podcast appearance with the Ring Wrestling Show podcast, the WWE star talked about what he believes his legacy is going to be when he leaves the WWE.

“When I came in, if you were over, that meant that everybody in that arena was wearing your T-shirt. If you were over, that meant you were Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin, John Cena, that’s over. Randy Orton ain’t over. I’ve had more matches on TV than any other WWE Superstar in the history of the company. That’s my legacy, the longevity.”

Arguing with Randy Orton on what he said throughout this podcast would be tough. He's been in this organization for quite some time now and the fact that he still competing at a high level does help his resume as being the greatest of all time.

Once he returns from his back injury, he still plans on coming out to the ring and giving it everything that he has. He's not going to go out without a fight and that's exactly what he's done throughout his entire career.

In the same interview, Randy Orton also spoke about how many events he has to do per year. This is obviously public information considering that we can just add up all the events that he does throughout the year, but it's pretty crazy when he puts it in perspective.

“Schedule-wise, I think I’m maybe one of the only guys that have an amount of dates that I’m contractually obligated to do. And that’s 80, 80 shows a year.”

Unfortunately, we don't know when we're going to see Randy Orton back in the ring because he's dealing with a bit of an injury. He hasn't been in the ring in about a month-and-a-half at this point and it's certainly a sad time for WWE fans.

There are obviously a few other wrestlers that we could consider the best WWE wrestler of all time, but Randy Orton certainly has the resume to go down as the best that's ever done it. His longevity is going to go a long way.
