AEW held their All Out 2022 pay-per-view in Chicago, Illinois on Sunday night. The show ended with hometown hero CM Punk holding the World Championship high, having won the belt for the second time.

After his victory, the lights cut out and the masked Joker from the Casino Ladder Match earlier in the show revealed themselves. It was Punk's longtime rival MJF, who made his first appearance in AEW since June 1.

However, the talk of the wrestling world isn't focused around the end of All Out 2022. It's instead centered around the media scrum that occurred following the end of the pay-per-view.

Punk, unprompted, brought up the topic of Colt Cabana to begin his portion of the All Out media scrum. Rumors circulated that Punk's attitude towards his former friend may have led to Cabana nearly being cut from AEW.

Punk spoke about the real-life issues between the two and reiterated he had no care in the world about Cabana. He then directed his rage toward AEW EVPs Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks.

“It’s 2022, I haven’t been friends with this guy since at least 2014/late-2013, and the fact that I have to sit up here because we have irresponsible people who call themselves EVPs, and couldn’t f*****g manage a Target, and they spread lies and b******t and put into a media that I got somebody fired when I have f**k all to do with him, want nothing to do with him, do not care where he works, where he doesn’t work, where he eats, where he sleeps. And the fact that I have to get up here and do this in 2022 is f*****g embarrassing," Punk said.

Punk then directed his ire towards "Hangman" Adam Page. He commented on his unscripted callout of the former AEW World Champion and didn't hold back.

“What did I ever do in this world to deserve an empty-headed f*****g dumb f**k like Hangman Adam Page to go out on national television and f*****g go into business for himself. What did I ever do? Didn’t do a Goddamn thing," Punk said.

“I’m trying to run a f*****g business, and when somebody who hasn’t done a damn thing in this business jeopardizes the first million dollar house that this company has ever drawn, off of my back, and goes on national television and does that, it’s a disgrace to this industry, it’s a disgrace to this company."

After Punk's portion of the press conference, the AEW Tag Team Champions Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee took the podium. During this portion of the presser, a security guard was seen rushing out of the media room.

Reports then emerged that Punk and the Young Bucks were involved in some sort of physical altercation. Wrestling Observer insider Dave Meltzer described it as a "melee." There was said to be considerable amounts of heat on Punk over his comments at the press conference.

The altercation lines up with a comment Punk made during his portion of the press conference. And the AEW World Champion did not provide a positive picture of the outlook of this rivalry.

“We’re far beyond apologies. I gave him a f*****g chance, it did not get handled, and you saw what I had to do – which is very regrettable, lowering myself to his f*****g level, but that’s where we’re at right now.

“And I will still walk up and down this hallway and say, ‘If you have a f*****g problem with me, take it up with me, let’s f*****g go’," Punk said.
